We stayed the night on Mt Solitary towards the eastern end. Navigation was easy as the tracks were well worn. No water on Mt Solitary. Lots of good camp sites starting at the top of the knife edge and spanning the length of the mountain. Most of the sites were close to lookouts with great views. I was surprised to find that there is phone reception for most of the mountain! Well worth the extra walking to go to Ruined castle. Great walk, Day 2 was hard, especially in the heat. Water tanks were pretty full at all camp sites. Cox's river is pretty shallow but good for a swim. Wildwalks has a great information sheet on the walk.
