Having not done anything spectacular for all of... hmmm...... 48 hours..... it was time to live another part of the east-coast dream. Time for a good old fashioned James Morrow travelling double-back and it was 4 hour bus ride north to the non-descript town of Ayr. Ayr, on a Sunday, isnt exactly Oxford Street on a saturday afternoon. I counted only 2 shops open and less people then i had fingers. One of the open shops was some bizarre cheapy pound shop kind of thing, made all the more bizarre with the unearthing of a Des o'Connor CD. What the.....? Thankfully, I was just killing time until i got picked up by the dive school at 5pm. On doing so, yet again i found myself in the company of women. What is going on here?????? I dont want to sound ungrateful, as a red-blooded single male, but i'd kill for a conversation about football right now instead of fending off suggestions of having my nails painted. The three gals were all good fun and from scotland and england, so no worries. After a twenty minute ride in the land cruiser, we pulled up at the dive lodge.
