Scientific Bogota

The tour begins at the Interactive Center Maloka. This center is 17.000 m2 of underground construction where you will find 9 thematic exposition rooms around 300 interactive modules and the first and largest movie dome IMAX style of South America. These make it the first underground science and technology interactive center in the world. You will watch a movie in the dome theater in a 60-frames per second format which makes the viewer experience extreme emotions and sensations. Afterwards you will go to the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden where you can enjoy in one place a combined scenery of the different flora and fauna environments that we have in Colombia. The next stop of the tour is the district’s Planetarium whose dome is the largest in Latin America 25 mt in diameter. There a modern protection system reproduces our universe´s phenomenons using electrical optical and electromechanical means.
