2012","aspect_ratio":"","latitude":"-20.63278389","longitude":"15.16113281","video_rating":"4.6","rating_count":"458","view_count":"1143167","like_count":"409","favorite_count":"808","comment_count":"0"},{"video_id":"1932088","remote_id":"6KfNu1HEcO4","video_title":"Namibian%20Nights","video_description":"It%27s%20not%20easy%20to%20come%20up%20with%20something%20new%20when%20you%20visit%20the%20same%20place%20every%20year%20for%20more%20than%20a%20decade.%20Over%20the%20years%20Marsel%20has%20created%20the%20most%20extensive%20and%20most%20popular%20night%20photography%20portfolio%20of%20Namibia%20on%20this%20planet%2C%20and%20two%20years%20ago%20he%20decided%20it%20was%20time%20to%20take%20it%20to%20the%20next%20level.%20The%20idea%20was%20to%20create%20a%20night%20photography%20timelapse%20video%20featuring%20his%20most%20popular%20subjects%20in%20this%20amazing%20country%3A%20the%20fairytale-like%20quivertrees%20and%20the%20eery%2C%20dead%20camelthorn%20trees%20in%20Deadvlei%20-%20something%20that%20had%20never%20been%20done%20before.%20But%20instead%20of%20going%20for%20static%20scenes%2C%20Marsel%20decided%20to%20add%20movement%20to%20the%20scenes%20by%20using%20a%20dolly%20system.%20All%20scenes%20were%20shot%20during%20the%20night%20with%20Nikon%20D3%2C%20D3s%20and%20D4%20cameras.%20We%20used%20small%20headlights%20for%20selectively%20lighting%20trees%20and%20rocks%2C%20and%20we%20sometimes%20used%20the%20moon.%20The%20brighter%20the%20scene%2C%20the%20more%20moon%20there%20was%20at%20the%20time.%20For%20the%20arch%20scene%20we%20timed%20our%20shoot%20exactly%20with%20moonset%2C%20which%20involved%20quite%20a%20bit%20of%20calculating%20and%20planning.%20But%20the%20hardest%20one%20of%20all%20was%20probably%20the%20mist%20scene%20in%20Deadvlei.%20Mist%20in%20Deadvlei%20only%20occurs%20around%20five%20times%20a%20year%2C%20so%20we%20had%20to%20keep%20a%20close%20eye%20on%20the%20weather%20predictions%20and%20many%20attempts%20were%20unsuccessful.%20When%20we%20finally%20got%20it%20right%2C%20the%20results%20far%20exceeded%20our%20expectations%20and%20show%20Deadvlei%20as%20no%20one%20has%20ever%20seen%20it%20before.%20Each%20second%20of%20video%20consists%20of%2030%20photographs.%20In%20total%2C%20Marsel%20shot%20more%20than%2016000%20images%20over%20a%20period%20of%20two%20years%20for%20this%20project.%20The%20%3Cb%3E...%3C%2Fb%3E","video_duration":"70","owner_handle":"squiverphototrips","upload_date":"14
