This week the ball leads us to the beautiful Nation of Rwanda. It is true that this country has a dark and violent passed, but today, it is filled with joy and hope for the future. We were privileged to visit a famous troop of mountain gorillas who where studied by Dian Fossey. We spend some time with Albert Musabyimana, a survivor of the terrible genocide that took place here, in which he lost his whole family. He is the founder of the Peace and Hope Initiative which helps vulnerable members of the community and he is truly an inspirational man. We also do a bit of good of our own through our eye clinic and finally hang out with a local musician, who's hauntingly beautiful melodies sum up the emotional state of this still fragile nation.
